Rip Curl Pro Search 2009 - Peniche, Portugal!

Check out all the action at the Rip Curl Pro Search 2009 in Peniche, Portugal.
We went there to see all the best surfers of the world rippin' our waves in portugal.
Guys like Kelly Slater, Owen Wright, Joel Parkinson and our portuguese rider in the tour, Tiago Pires.
Unfortunately Tiago didn't make it through his heat, losing to Nathan Curran in the first round and our portuguese wild cards David Luis and Justin Mujica also lost their chance to proceed in the Rip Curl Pro Search!
We really were stoked seeing all the action live!

Great Surf in Espinho

Thank you, Kaisa!

You know... At the end of the season, the team is slowly leaving Surfivor and they get back to their normal lifes again.... that makes us a bit sad. In those months that they work at Surfivor, you get a bond with the team. Especially when it is a person who meant a lot to Surfivor and to the rest of the team. Kaisa is one of them... The stretching sessions, the warm-up before surfing, yoga in the forest, yoga on the pier at sunset, a great help with everything.. and( i will never forget..) ginger-tea! That is why we had special "last surf-trip" for her.
After a nice surf at Aguçadoura beach, just south Viana do Castelo, we headed for the mountains. At an old monastery we stopped and had a nice picknick, a vist at the creek and a lovely yoga-session with a view over the mountains. Check out these pictures...

On Saturday we desided to escape the fiesta in Cortegaça and go for a nice surftrip..

Because Peter has to go to Holland and back to school again, we arranged a nice goodby party for him.. Bowling and go carts..
What he didn´t know is that we had a suprise for him..
